These Terms and Conditions govern the enrollment and participation of students at Tembisa Sewing School. By registering for any course offered by the school, the student agrees to comply with these terms.

1. Enrollment and Registration
1.1 Students must complete the official registration form before starting classes.
1.2 A registration fee of R500 is required to secure a place in the course.
1.3 The registration fee may be paid separately or together with the tuition fee.
1.4 Enrollment is confirmed only once the registration fee or required payment has been received.

2. Course Fees and Payments
2.1 Tuition fees must be paid according to the payment schedule provided by the school.
2.2 Students are responsible for ensuring that payments are made on time.
2.3 Failure to make payments may result in:
  • Suspension from attending classes
  • Withholding of certificates
  • Cancellation of enrollment
2.4 All payments made to the school must follow the official payment methods communicated by the school.

3. Attendance
3.1 Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.

Refund Policy – Tembisa Sewing School

Effective Date: 1 March 2026

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may or may not be issued for courses offered by Tembisa Sewing School. By enrolling in a course, students agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Registration Fee

1.1 A non-refundable registration fee of R500 is required to secure a student’s place in a course.

1.2 Once the registration has been processed and the student’s place has been reserved, the registration fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

2. Tuition Fees

2.1 Tuition fees paid may be refundable only under specific circumstances outlined in this policy.

2.2 Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the school administration.

3. Withdrawal Before Course Start

3.1 If a student withdraws before the course begins, the tuition fee may be refunded.

3.2 The registration fee will still not be refunded.

3.3 Administrative costs may be deducted before issuing a refund.

4. Withdrawal After Course Start

4.1 If a student withdraws after the course has started, tuition fees paid are generally non-refundable.

4.2 In exceptional circumstances (such as serious illness or relocation), the school may consider a partial refund or credit toward a future course, at its sole discretion.

5. Missed Classes

5.1 No refunds will be issued for classes missed by the student.

5.2 The school is not obligated to provide replacement classes for missed sessions.

6. Course Cancellation by the School

6.1 If Tembisa Sewing School cancels a course for any reason, students will be offered one of the following options:

  • A full refund of tuition fees, or

  • Transfer to the next available course session

6.2 The registration fee may be refunded if the school cancels the course entirely and no alternative course is available.

7. Refund Processing

7.1 Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.

7.2 Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original payment, unless otherwise agreed.

8. Policy Changes
